      Sonnie,

Thanks for the link. The Hitachi is awesome, this is my first RPTV and its huge in my apt. LOL Glad to see you also got a HDTV. How's the Toshiba doing? Are you picking up any HD programming?

No HD programming for now. I'm waiting on the Dish Network PVR921. Then I'll get some. The few local stations that are even remotely close to us will probably wait until the last minute to upgrade their system to HD. I'm stuck and depending on Dish Network. It's a bad situation I know.

I just posted a new thread about my Toshiba. Other than a minor quirk I like it. The one DVD I watched today was awesome and it was non-anamorphic, so I'm pleased.

I can remember when we got our first big screen. We went from a 35 inch to a 61 inch and it made us dizzy for a couple of weeks. hee hee.... it was a trip! Now we don't know what we would do without one.

EDIT: The DVD I watched was in fact an anamorphic DVD... not a non-anamorphic one as I posted.

Hi ya John! Welcome to The Guide!

You've got a nice system there. I've got the same Bello rack upstairs and like it a lot. Also, some good friends of ours have the same B&W mains and they are very impressive speakers.

Mats (our system administrator) has built us a gallery section you might be interested in, also. Click on the "Gallery" button at the top right of the screen and you'll see several other members' theater rooms.

          See you 'round.

Why have two sets of speakers up front?

Welcome to The Guide, John. Nice setup. Like Andrew, I am also curious as to why the two sets of speakers. Are the towers for music listening only ?

                  Sonnie,

No HD programming for me either at this time, waiting for the prices of STBs to come down, but you never know what might happen. LOL I posted on your thread also. I also went from a 36" to this bemoth, I hope I can sell the 36" off, so maybe get a new A/V Receiver.

                  David Meek,

Thanks for the welcome and stopping by my webpage. The rack I have is a Furniture Works, a little bit cheaper than a Bello, but glad to know it looks alot more expensive. The B&Ws impress me everytime I listen to them, kinda scary sometimes. LOL I will check out the Gallery.

                  eduardo,

Thanks. No one has complained yet (crosses fingers).

                  Andrew & George,

Thanks for the comment. The Monitor Audio's are for HT, the B&Ws for music only. I want to setup the 2-channel in a room by itself when I move into a 2-bedroom apt. in the future.

Yeah I understand. I do my music listening in another room, too. My HT is pretty much for movies only. I don't even use it for normal tv fare. That's taken care of by a 36" Tosh crt in the study.
