It would be really cool to have a real-time traffic map of the Houston area on a small roll up map that could be carried in the car, and a large display at home showing movies (wonder if they can go hi-def with this?) -- "front projection" sized video without the front projector.

I think the applications for this type of technology is endless. Maybe even those moving pictures like in Harry Potter.

I am thrashing around trying to improve my audio for music and HT. I am searching for a musical sub that has enough power for a 17x25x9.5 foot room that opens to a couple of other rooms. At first I was going to try the infinite baffle route, but too many unknowns and time for me right now.

I just traded in an early version of the current RT-1080 tuner (was black version) for a newer silver version of the 1080 tuner (had to make it match the silver RSP-1098 - for the all important WAF).
As per the RT-1080 owner's manual addendum, the newer 1080's display now functions slightly...20 January 2004, 12:32 Tuesday
