    Home Theater and Music

    Hi Everyone!
    I currently have a Denon AVR 4311 being used as a pre-amp with B&W speakers and Rotel Amps. I have been looking for a actual pre-amp and am considering the McIntosh MX-121. My system is a 7.1 and I use it for both music and home theater.

    Do you think I would notice a big difference for the money in going with the MX-121? I am considering the switch to improve the 2 channel music quality.

      Tough question to answer. Like you, I'd hope the Mac would yield a better musical experience.

          I currently have my FLAC collection on a hard drive attached to my computer. The computer is connected to my Denon 4311 through a ethernet connection so I can play it through my home stereo. Is this the best option to get the highest quality sound? What are some others? I use Serviio on my PC....
