Bass wobbles coming from left channel

Hey all, been a while since i posted. 8O

Im at my wits end and have turned to some expert advice :T
Right, i have a 5.1 sound card in my pc, and its linked to a 2 channel amplifier, it was all working fine yesterday, but when i turnt it on today it has bass 'wobbles' every now and again (and sems to be a specific pattern) coming from the left channel.
Ive tried changing the phono lead, checked all the settings on the pc, and fiddles with all the bits n bobs on the amp.

thing is, it doesnt do this when playing music or watching a film..
Only when the amp is on, and nothing going through it.
so what could it be? im confused.

    any help appreciated,
    Jon.

I just finished my turntable set up (though I need to make more adjustements) and tried playing a record. I have the turntable phono stage connected to the multi-input connectors on the back of my 1055. The...

I am currently using generic in-wall style speaker cables while I await my order from Morrow. I am connected to a pair of MAD 1920S speakers and a REL t7 sub, listening...

I have two subs that I want to connect using balanced outputs. I can use the normal subwoofer channel and wanted to use the Programmable Pro 1 channel as identical to the other sub channel. Going through the "Mix Levels" menu, there is no choice for "Subwoofer", just LFE. I set...

New Rotel owner here, I'm running the RAP1580MK2 with a fairly basic two channel system (left and right fronts, and a subwoofer), for both music and home theatre. I do not plan to add other speakers at this point.

Parasound Halo A51 5th Channel Problem.
      by mitch57
Well it looks like my Halo A51 Amp's 5th channel is on it's way out. I started noticing the the 5th channel, which is the surround right channel, didn't seem to have much of a signal. I first noticed it while listening to DVD-A and multi channel SACDs. It just didn't seem like I was hearing much...
