    Suggestion for $1000 system

    I have a friend looking to set up home theater in new home that is pre-wired for in wall ceiling speakers - front three & rear two. His budget is $1000 He already has the LCD tv & blu-ray player. So he needs sub, five in wall speakers, and avr. A pre-owned avr might be a good choice for him to save more for speakers. Knowing what I have in my system, it just doesn't seem like much to do anything. But I was trying to keep him from HT in a box.

    Looking for best ideas/options with small budget. Thanks.

          Thanks David. Have you had a chance to listen to either of these? Not sure if it will be an option for my friend as he seems set on keeping speakers hidden in ceiling. But these are certainly small enough to be a good option if he'll consider.
