I'm wondering how to get the audio from my HTPC to my receiver. RCA cables don't seem to fit in the jack located at the back of my PC (the green one). If I was to get an Asus Xonar soundcard, or something similar, would that solve this issue? Thx.

Depending on your soundcard you should be able to use a digital coax or optical cable to send a digital signal to the receiver to decode.
If you want to use the analog jacks on the PC however all you need is cables (or adapters) from "Mini-Jacks" on the PC to normal RCA cables like pictured below

I need to purchase RCA type cables for a SACD player. I was looking for cables for the easiest setup. I can get two 3-wire component video cables or three standard audio cables. what will the sound quality difference be between the two? these are the two sets of cables I am currently looking at.... -

RME 9632 Soundcard. Anyone ever heard of it?
I just heard of this soundcard, and started wondering if this is a good option for me. I want to make my HTPC as good as a good CD player. I've been asking a few guys over at AVS about it, but haven't really heard from anyone who's owned that soundcard.... -
I have thought and thought about building a HTPC, but dont really have a use for it right now. But I might someday. Until then, this is my current rig:

Athlon 64 3200 90nm
1GB Crucial Ballistix PC4200
Asus X300 (the only thing that I really need to upgrade)...
