    Buzzing A500 (Behringer)

These little guys work well as far as headroom and sound. They handle surround duty with ease.......

.........But, the buzzing.Any other suggestions on how to stop it.I have a Lutron IR dimmer that is one source of buzzing. If I have to pull it and go back to a switch I'll do it, but i love my dimmer.

    Help
Here is my LCR "Trio". Way to go guys !

    have you tried cheater plugs?

have you tried using the 1/4" TRS input instead of the RCA? (an RCA to TRS adaptor will do)

I tryed the cheater plugs , but not the TRS. Thanx. I would really like to fix this rather than sell and begin looking for new amps. They do pack a punch.

The PS Audio Humbuster should cure the problem.

I've read that the RCA inputs on the A500s can indeed be noisy. I know at least one person who switched to the TRS and the noise was gone. :T

Speaker Buzz From Dimmer - Question
                      by chibahawk
I have speaker buzz coming through the speakers when the lights are on so it's certainly the dimmer like people have suggested.

The thing is - I only get the buzz when I'm watching cable. When playing PS3, or Wii, everything is fine. What kind of things can I isolate from the...

RSX-1067 buzzing with only speakers connected
                      by Jay Sylvester
A few weeks back, I purchased a 1067 receiver from my local dealer. When I hooked it up, I heard a distinct buzzing sound coming from all the tweeters in my system. The buzz was volume dependent, but still quite audible at very low volumes. Since it was coming from all 7 speakers in my setup, it was...

                      amplifier hum and dimmer switches
                      by gcmarshall
i was wondering if anyone can offer advice on something. i am considering a separate power amp, possibly a rotel RMB-1095. rotel tells me there are reports of a "hum" being amplified by the system when the unit is installed on a circuit that has a dimmer switch on the same circuit.

                      Behringer A500
                      by cameronthorne
I just got a Behringer A500 to power some small DIY 10" subs. I'm using an active crossover upstream of the A500. The high-pass output is going to active loudspeakers, and the crossover is expecting the low-pass amplifier to have a voltage gain of 25x (28 dB). The A500 has gain knobs on the...
