    Just got My Buttkickers

I was checking on some Bass shakers for my HT seating, contemplated Auras since one of our sponsors Partexpress has them on sale.

Then I started searching this forum as well as other searches, ran into Buttkicker2 and Clark Transducers, Crowson Tech TES100. I couldn't afford the Clarks or Crowsons, so I purchased the Buttkicker2 LFE kit and an extra Buttkicker. What an addition to your HT, if you are contemplating adding a second sub, you may want to consider this option. Initially, I had the BK shaking the furniture but tamed it to it's proper level, and I throughly enjoy this thing. From, The Flight of the Phoenix crash, to Gears of War via Xbox360, this device just adds another dimension to your HT experience.

Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments are welcomed. Chris, I await your opinion with breathless anticipation .

FYI, Earthquake has a new Bass Shaker which was displayed at the CES.

    Peace and blessings,

    Azeke

Awesome, dude! My opinion is that you'll find that little "edge" added to your theater experience that just takes it over the top. The "coup de grace". Tendency with shakers is to overuse them, because you have them and instinctively want to get your money's worth and maximize the experience. But the key to shaker use is moderation, and the subtelty will amaze you, instead of destroying the experience.

Have fun dialing it in and using it! A banana, of course.

Indeed Chris, I certainly have found that calibration, fine tuning and moderation is the key to it's enjoyment.

Wow, only one banana, if I bought the Clark's would I've gotten extra bananas  ?

Seriouly though, thanks Chris , the experience is absolutely worth the investment.

      Peace and blessings,

I love mine too! Huge return on investment. I have mine set at the loest fequency cut off and only set to about 30% volume.

That changes when I play video games...volume goes way up. 50-60%

Can't wait for the Earthquakes! I didn't make it to CES this year but my Earthquake Rep told me they would have them soon. I'm sure Joseph will design a transducer worth waiting for.

Just ordered a few of these as I have heard positive things about them. Anyone else on the forum using them? I just purchase a Audiosource AMP1A 200w mono 2 ohm stable amp to power them as I will be wiring them up in parallel operation. Just modified the couch with a big piece of wood and attached it...

Can I use banana plugs on my 15 year old DM 602s?
                  by ed94582
                  Hi,

Silly question but I have owned a pair of DM 602 speakers for about 15 years and thought I would replace the speaker wire and got some wire made today with banana plugs but noticed today that the connectors in the back don't seem to allow banana plugs? I read about the red and black...

                  Hi everyone,

I'm totally new to locking banana plugs but just got a great deal on some Zu cables. What I hadn't anticipated was the trouble their locking banana plug terminations are causing me. There seems to be no way for them to fit into the 685's banana terminals. They are simply...

                  Hey guys and girls-
I just became an 'official' member of Club Rotel with my purchase of an RSX 1055 and an RX 1050. The options are incredible, so I'll have to sit down and study for a while, I did get the clock on the remote set, whoppee!

Now, for my question: The most trouble...

I just ordered some terminated speaker wire today. I upped the gauge to go thicker than I'm currently running and thought "what the hey, banana connectors would be a nice touch." My instruction manual for the 601's says this:
