Sub SAt Systems

Whats the best sub/sat systems for home theatre.
KEF/B&W/Paradigm
Please share your thoughts.
I need a sub/sat system for a family room. Budget b/w $1500 to $3000.00

You should be able to get a pretty decent sub/bookshelf system for near $3k... nevermind sats!

Look at B&W, Energy, Kef, Paradigm, PSB, Polk Totem etc for speakers and SVS for your sub Being in South Africa you could have import costs with SVS so then I'd recommend likely a Pardigm or Velodyne sub (as available). Even better you should be able to do a DIY model if you can get decent parts locally :T

The reason I am looking at sub/sat system is due to space.
The area on the wall where the plasma will be mounted is framed on either side by pillars(wifes desire). This brings a constraint of space.
KEF 3005? B&W(MT 30), how are they.
