Hello,
Im a new poster but a long time reader of these fourms, and I have just changed out some equitment at a friend of mines home Including replaceing an older Denon Amp with a Yamaha HTR-5960. But After connecting his rotel amp (i cant remember the model but it was from about 1998ish a two channel with no volume control) to the pre out on the yamaha the other speakers in the home do not get NEARLY enough power. Yamaha book says NOTHING about raising the output level of preouts, and rotel has no volume control knob. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions, maybe (if such product exist) an inline RCA amp? to boost the signal a little bit more before it reaches the rotel? Thanks in advance.
