I need to buy a mini system for my son's room. we will be buiding a set of monitors. I have been considering the panasonic SA-XR55, but wondered if there were any mini systems with digital amps like the Panasonic's. Would also like a subwoofer output, line level, if possible. any recommendations welcome.

If not digital, there are several good choices for some relatively inexpensive integrated amps. Many of which have a subwoofer output. I think you'll get more mileage that way. In fact, I'm planning to do the same for a second system after I get done with my current backlog of DIY projects.DanishComment
