    5.1 and 7.1

    I'm about to upgrade my preamp/processor to the Outlaw 990 or Sherwood Newcastle P 965. I'm currently running 5.1 on a older Denon system (AVP 8000, AVP 8200, AVP 8300). Can I run the 5 channels on either of these units and is there anything special to consider?

      Not that I can see. The 990 has Balanced and Unbalance connections would be nice if you could of used the Balanced plugs. If you enjoyed the the amps they should do an equally good job with the Outlaw. :T
