    need help on fixing vexing issue on speaker wires

    Hi

    Thanks in advance for you time.

    I have chosen to buy a 5.1 receiver that has RCA(phono) output for speakers only.
    The problem is that I have speakers that have speaker line wires from a previous system. I am unable to buy a converter, or atleast, a set of speaker cable that has RCA at one end and line/speaker level wire at the other end.

    Anyone out there please suggest any website or retail store... i hate to throw out my old speakers.

          Are you sure you didn't buy a 5.1 preamp and not a receiver?
