Just a friendly warning... you probably won't find a lot of love -- or information -- for Bose products on this forum.

But if I remember correctly, their Lifestyle packages are proprietarily designed and built... that is, you'll necessarily need to find Bose speakers and Acoustimass subs -- made specifically for Lifestyle systems -- to get a proper match... very unlikely that other makes of speakers will work.

Again, I'm not a Bose fan either, but you should get passable movie performance with your system if you're in a small, 'near-field' room.

Thats supposed to be a complete sytem with speakers and sub. You may be able to buy the Accoustimas 10 or 15 and use them but you better check with Bose. The lifestyle has specific connections.
Do not use any speakers or both will be damaged.

Indeed, I believe this is a proprietary configuration, as previously mentioned.

He/She actually sold you the receiver without the speakers?

I'm with Jason, hopefully you can get your money back before it's too late.

I wish we had better news for you. You could call Bose directly or go to one of their stores and make a techincal inquiry, but I believe it is more economically feasible to invest your money into other components, IMHO.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

            Good luck,

I don't know how much you 've paid, but any amount of money paid for Bose is way too much. When you pay $100 for Bose, you pay $75 for their marketing campaign and $25 for actual equipment.

Back to the question at hand, this media unit is useless without the proprietry speakers that come supplied with this unit. A BOse AM6, 10 or 15 cube system will not work with this console. Get yer money back ASAP.
