    Adding a fan to my HK.....

    I want to take off the feet and let the receiver sit level. It looks a lot better IMO as everything is one big mass of electronics. But the obvious thing is it gets hotter, which isnt the best of things.
    So I took my cover off and I could not find a 12v source to save my life...
    So I put the cover back on before I mess something up :roll:
    Any ideas of achieving this? I would like to make that stack with the glass and add LEDs to it... so I have NO idea of how to get this done... any help?

    Oh my HK is a AVR 230... and if this needs to be moved... its fine by me.

    Drew,

    I can't recommend removing the feet by any means, but if you are going to proceed, look at something like one (or more) of ATM's Cool Racks. You'll still have the look you want and maintain the ability to exhaust hot air from the HK.

          Bruce, some fans are noisy, some aren't so.

            Lexicon MC-1 Fan noise
            by Kevin_McC
            Can anyone else hear the DTS fan in their Lexicon? I can hear mine buzzing 12 feet away. I'm seriously thinking about replacing it (fan) has anyone else tried to replace it? If so what's a suitable replacement fan? Can it just be disconnected?

            Adding a RB 1070 to RSP 1066 & RB 985 combination
            by Ross Smith
            Thanks to Rotel, I have just had my faulty RSP 976 replaced with a RSP 1066 running a RB 985 Mk 1, I couldn't believe how much smoother and detailed the sound is. No more do I have to squirm in my seat when listening to D/D music DVD's and the CD stereo performance has me tapping my feet and listening...

            Please forgive me for the basic question-I searched through the archives and failed to find something informative on this issue;

            My new dedicated HT is 19 feet by 19 feet with a front projector and 103" screen. I have B&W speakers all around, DM603 S3s in front, DM602 S3s in...

            I currently have a pair of CDM7NT's for my speakers with the matching CDMCNT center. I'm now trying to decide what to ad as my rear surrounds.
