I have seen ur valuable comments and expert opinions reg. HTS.
I am planning to go for HTS i have LX3600D in mind. Its a build in DVD player.
with following spec:

As with most THIBs they do have there pluses for ease of use and today they do quite well processing/decoding material at acceptable levels. If this is what you're budget allows by all means go ahead. Just remember that THIBs are often not upgradable.

But I would also advice you if possible to audition a fully equiped home theater at your local dealer to have an idea of what the ultimate system will sound and feel like. Then if possible audition the system/s you're are interested in to come as close as possible.

The Phillips will make a tremendous improvement in the way you'll enjoy your movies and TV programs.
