    Need recommendations on a DVD player...

    I have a Rotel rdv-1060 which has only component video output. My Pioneer plasma has an HDMI input so I would like to take advantage of that if possible. What DVD player do you folks have experience with that has HDMI output, while providing good cd playback.

    Rotel RSX-1067, Rotel RDV 10-60
    B&W 703s, 705s, HTM7, no sub yet
    Pioneer 4312 plasma

      Plasma TV: Pioneer PDP-427XG - XGA Resolution (1024 X 768 ) with 2 x HDMI

      DVD player: Pioneer DV-696AV - (video out HDMI conversion to 720P/1080i).

      CD player: Cambridge Audio Azur 640C

      Hope I don't bore everyone to death, but I still have no PAL dvi picture...
      Here's what:

      1. Pioneer DV868avi > hdmi-dvi cable > Panasonic TH42-PWD6EX
      2. Pioneer in NTSC mode, showing 480p in Pio display
      3. Playing NTSC disc, everything fine, superb picture...
