I have to say, I've had this remote since Jan. and I am still on the original set of batteries. I have done extensive programming with it and it is my primary remote. I even use the light feature all the time at night.

A couple of nights ago, I was trying to quickly turn down the volume of the RDC-7 via the remote control without completely muting the sound. I mashed the volume "down" button quite few times in sequence and then found the RDC-7 wouldn't respond to any remote commands. It still worked fine...24 October 2002, 15:41 Thursday
