My 1066/1075 will be here on Monday, & I'm going crazy trying to decide on a remote. I had a Yamaha RAV2000 (pronto TSU2000 clone) which I was not crazy about. I hear nothing but praise for the MX-500, & it's CHEAP! The new Pronto TSU3000 is in stock at Amazon for $245 shipped, which is a surprisingly LOW price for a new Pronto. I am intrigued by the support I'm seeing from Rotel & others with the Pronto/Rotel interface. Any opinions on living with either of these? THANKS!

I've got both a 1066 and an mx500. I think the mx500 is a great remote. I trained it from the rotel remote and I've not touched the rotel one since. I wouldn't mind borrowing a pronto so I can learn some of the discrete codes from rotel's own ccf, but none of them are really important (to me anyways), I just kinda want them there for completeness.
a year after I got mine, I bought one for my dad and he think's it's great too.

Hi all
Has anyone noticed how slow the 1066 remote is when going back one chapter on a CD or DVD, compared to the DVD remote.
If I try and go back more than one chapter it takes forever. I have the 969 remote... i think.
Does anyone know a fix for this.

Not very happy with the 1050 remote
... considering the Pronto but before I lay out the big bucks is there any cheaper alternative that you guys have got to work well ?
Also any problems encountered with Pronto with 1066 etc ?
