Full range rears vs. 2nd subwoofer

Need some advise. Below is my current system.

B&W N804's (set to LARGE), HTM1 (LARGE) and SCM8's (SMALL) :T
Rotel 1068 pre/1095 amp
Martin Logan Depth
12' by 15' room with catherdral ceilings
Mostly HT, some 2 channel.
Will get into multi channel music at some point
Spot for additonal sub is about 15" by 15" (maybe able to fit a 16" x 16"). It would be in the front left for the room.

I'm considering two options:

A. Buy a small sub and add base to just the rear channels
B. Get a 2nd sub to have stereo 0.1 subs


Thanks for any advice, pro's/con's, etc.

Don't some of the newer universal players have bass management on board? That may be your easiest option.
