HT, 2-channel setup for under $1,500

Looking for clean receiver in my price range which will give the most bang for my buck. I listen approx. 70/30 music to movies. Room size 14x30. I need a setup which will allow 2 source-2 room capability. Is it better to buy a HT receiver & then a seperate power amp or but a HT receiver capable of 2 source-2room.

Second related question is do I lose significant sound quality by getting a all-in-one HT receiver.

My top end budget is $1,500, but if I can do it for less without sacrificing quality, why not.

My speakers are decent JBL LX-44 rated at 150w.

I'm intrigued with the Rotel 1056's ($1200) but would have to wait to add the power amp later or a Marantz which has 2zone/2source all ready built in.
