    Home Theatre Control Software

Has anyone used the program Cinemar Main Lobby to control their home theatre? I have been thinking about using it to control my theatre.

I assume you've checked our "Tower of Power" sub-section of the Guide. There's a post in there about the Main Lobby software, including stuff from the great Mario himself.

2-way Serial control of the Halo via Main Lobby
        by Kingdaddy
For those of you interested in remote serial 2-way control of the Halo C1/C2 there is some good news, Cinemar is working on a plugin for their Main Lobby control program that will allow RS-232 (serial) 2-way control of all major functions. I originally bought this program to control the Sony CX777ES...

Finding discrepancies with the Halo Control Software?
        by Chris D
I'm seeing some discrepancies with the Halo Control software--I've talked it over with Parasound's tech support, and they're looking into it to see if there's problems or omissions. In the meantime, I think it would be useful for everyone to post if they've noticed similar things so we can nail down...

        Hello,

I am pretty sure, that I have seen (and downloaded) a VisualBasic software, that would implement the RSP-1068 or RSP-1098 RS 232 protocol in a neat control software. Thoguh, I do not find it anymore. Neither on my harddisk nor on the web (it was a few years ago I d'lded it)....

THE STORY: After owning a RSX1056 for a couple years, I've just put a PC (a marginally dated AMD2600 XP Machine) in my HT system by SPDIF Audio and Component Video. Ripping my CD music collection to a Network Drive, and able to play it via Windows Media Player. "IF" I had the 1056 on, and...

Need beta testers for computer user interface to control: RT1080, RSP1068, RSP1066

        Hi Folks,

Seems like a pretty big following here for Rotel.

If you've always wanted to control your equipment from your computer/graphic user interface, touchscreen or tablet pc, but thought it was cost prohibitive, think again.

We've got a free plugin available...
