Has anyone used the program Cinemar Main Lobby to control their home theatre? I have been thinking about using it to control my theatre.

I assume you've checked our "Tower of Power" sub-section of the Guide. There's a post in there about the Main Lobby software, including stuff from the great Mario himself.

For those of you interested in remote serial 2-way control of the Halo C1/C2 there is some good news, Cinemar is working on a plugin for their Main Lobby control program that will allow RS-232 (serial) 2-way control of all major functions. I'm seeing some discrepancies with the Halo Control software--I've talked it over with Parasound's tech support, and they're looking into it to see if there's problems or omissions. I am pretty sure, that I have seen (and downloaded) a VisualBasic software, that would implement the RSP-1068 or RSP-1098 RS 232 protocol in a neat control software. Thoguh, I do not find it anymore. Neither on my harddisk nor on the web (it was a few years ago I d'lded it).... -
