I Met This Guy, See. . . .

I met with the guy today that is taking over for me as the Architecture Committee chairman in our sub-division. He's a very nice English fellow named Derek. We've known each other casually for a while, but had never really sat down and chatted. It turns out that he's a guitarist and played in several bands in England in the early '60s (under the stage name of David Burns), one of which was The Echoes (sp?). Their claim to fame is that at one gig at a club called "The Cavern" (I think), their front band was a bunch of guys called "The Beatles". I Wanna Hold Your Hand was released a week or so later. The rest is history. . . .
