    The Police- Synchronicity





    I picked this up last night. My wife wanted "Murder by Numbers" for quite sometime so, I thought that I would surprise her and pick it up.

    Have not had a chance to listen yet. Review to soon follow.

      Okay, had a chance to sit down and give this disc a listen. This disc is a compilation as well as a re-master. While I own several of Sting's solo works, I do not own any Police albums. So I really have nothing to bounce off of.

      One thing on this disc that stands out to me are the drums. IMO, they are the most life-like that I have heard on a disc. Drums seem to be the most difficult of instruments to reproduce. This disc does a great job of making them sound real.

      Imaging was never really satisfying to me. It of course varies from track to track, but the cd's overall image quality never quite gets there.

      The track "Murder By Numbers" has a very complex story in it's message. It was the first that I have heard it and was very pleased with it. I'm glad my wife turned me on to this disc.
