    what ever happened to Eric Jonhson?

    I remeber this guy when he first came onto the scene around 1991 with the hit "Cliffs of Dover" I'd all but forgotten about him until someone mentioned him the other day so I grabbed a few MP3's as a refresher. He's done some neat work with Joe Satriani steve vai...anyway where is this guy?

      I saw him with Satriani and Vai on the G3 tour in '96. Just checked cdnow.com and there are two albums listed after G3 live. One came out in '98 and one in '00.

              It was an AWESOME concert!
              You wouldn't have liked it
              Each artist played a full set and then all 3 of them came out together and jammed on 3 or 4 songs at the end.
              It only lasted about 4-4.5hrs:B

                      Andrew, you can check out everything Eric Johnson at [url]www.ericjohnson.com. He has a new live album out with some old friends. Keep in mind that this is a guy that only release albums every 5 years or so.
