The Starship has taken Paul Kantner home. A founding member of Jefferson Airplane , later Jefferson Starship. Inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 1996 , Mr. Kantner was one of the early architects of psychedelic rock and the San Francisco sound. Rock and Roll changed the world , and Paul Kantner helped change Rock and Roll. God bless and clear skies , Paul.

Yeah, so far this year hasn't been very kind to a certain generation of musicians- one's I grew up with. It's also a bit melancholy at times to read the story arc of their lives to where they are now. (did that this week for the Spin Doctors- "Two Princes" is one of the best all time boogie songs IMO).
It's like last year, when I did some Google searches on guys I used to play with back in the early 70's, when I was working my way through school- several are no longer alive.
Good thing I still have a reasonable sense of optimism about life's possibilities and what you can make of it at any age!the AudioWorx

If rock and roll from the eighties was your particular era, you will probably already have seen Rock Of Ages, so I won't bother with the story line.
