from a post I made back in March of this year re: "What CD are you listening to now?"

'The Best of the Alan Parsons Project'

    A compilation of Alan's work form 1977 to 1983.
NOTE: I typically stay FAR, FAR away from any CD that has 'Best Of' and/or "Greatest Hits' anywhere in its title'

None the less, It's one of those albums that makes you say 'I forgot all about these songs, but heard them all the time when I was a kid'.

It's a good listen, brings back fond memories and is good music to boot.
He was ahead of his time, IMHO.

A 'fun' CD for us 'Baby Boomers'.

Anybody remember 'Phychobabble' or 'I Wouldn't Like to be Like You'?

Parson's has a wide range to choose from. Each project has a different
messege to deliver. If I had to choose a favorite single track and there are a lot of them, I guess I would select "Cloud Break" off of the "On Air" disc.

      Thank's for posting...

I've owned some of his albums\cds, somewhat a fan, currently have I Robot and Eye In The Sky. Favorite is probably I Robot, I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You and Breakdown . Come to think of it I might have to look for a few other that I used to have.

Its hard to say what my favorite album would be, for sure I Robot is right up
there... off that album I really like The "The Voice" the whole disc is right up there with that track though.... What can you say about the Engineer of
1973s Dark Side Of The Moon...
          Thanks for Posting...

I picked up this CD the aother day as I was browsing A&B Sound. I have always been a huge fan of Alan Parsons, and could not resist a new album that Features David Gilmour, The Crystal Method, Voice Cameo from Jon Cleese.

            by Supernova
            Hello,

I thought I'd share my journey and seek advice and recommendations on replacing my whole house entertainment system. I researched various projects including Roon (I really wanted to use this but there were limitations), Volumino and many others. In the end I settled on piCorePlayer....

New Project - The Pottery Barn Subwoofer
            by AlanH
            Hi all,

A recent visit to a friend in Indiana left me feeling a little inadequate in the subwoofer department (I only have a Polk PSW303 with an 8" driver and a 100W plate amp). I tried, but there was no way I was going to talk my wife into a seven-foot-tall sonotube sub... ...

Hey guys, this is the first project I've done, a nearfield set of computer speakers, and I thought I would share the journey they took. If you want, just skip past all my BS and the project is below.

I bought some RS100's when they were on sale to play around with, thinking I would make...
