    A Moderator Addition

We have a new primary moderator for Audio Hidout. Please welcome Crimson. He brings with him a love for Planer speakers, 2 channel, and a genuine helpful attitude. Welcome.

MichaelW will retain what I am going to call "Floating" moderator status. Michael's schedule is such now with 1 baby here and another on the way that it is difficult for him to always respond in a timely manner to your questions. Since The Guide needs fairly quick response time on a regular basis, unfortunately it was time to do something in this area.

Michael's posts should still reflect his Moderator status, he's just not responsible for a particular forum. I think this is a nice compromise as we dont' want to loose Michael's skills completely, that's for sure... He can contribute as he always has, and commands the same level of respect the other Moderators get, which isn't much, lol. kidding.

    Thank you,
    Lex

Thanks Lex, this should be fun and I'll try to keep my passion for planars under check .

Bing, actually thats where I took my moniker from as I'm a big fan of the group.

Welcome aboard to the HTGuide Family! We won't hold your planar predelictions against you- I've owned Magneplanars, and have a decided love for the sound of dipole speakers- I've just elected a slightly heretical path, by playing with dipoles using more conventional drivers sometimes.

I'm sure we'll all be interested to find out about your experiences, preferences, and viewpoints on the two channel path.

PS: I'm a downgrader from 4.1 to 2.0. May move back to 3.1 some day- just depends on how weird I feel.

          Best regards,

          Jon

            Crimson,

What's to keep in check about planar transducers? Everyone knows they're the worlds best solution for whatever speaker problem ails you

            Welcome aboard, and good luck!

                  Hi all!

With my new family obilgations I have been unable to post as much as I would like. I will be checking in from time to time and hopefully can still contribute in a diminshed capacity. Crimson is a great addition to this forum as moderator.

Michael, good to see you back, even if brief. Come when you can, and hopefully, with the great job Crimson is doing developing new topics, we will have some interesting things to discuss-

Also, I assume you notice your still on staff here, just in a diminished capacity. Wait, that didn't sound to good, did it?

                      Regards,
                      Lex
