    16G Bi-wired or 10G for speaker hookup

Just came across a local clearance center that has some AR Master Series 10G speaker wire for cheap. THe AR speakers cable features:

AdaptaTip: AR® exclusive, precision-machined 24k gold-plated AdaptaTip™ banana ends ensure the tightest connection possible

Solder-free: termination for maximum unimpeded signal transfer and accuracy
    .
    24kt gold-plated: Corrosion-free 24k gold-plated surfaces maximize audio signal transfer

10 gauge: separate alternating fine-stranded roped layers of oxygen-free copper and precious silver-coated oxygen-free copper for accurate reproduction of all frequencies.
6 mm cable signal separator: controls magnetic fields, allowing accurate sound reproduction.

My speaker setup consits of Paradigm Studio 40/20/570(v3) powered by a Rotel RMB-1095 hooked up with 16G AR pro series in Bi-wire config.

I don't think that you'll notice a bit of difference between the two configurations. But, if you have the urge to get the new 10ga cables, by all means, do so. You certianly won't be any worse off.

Biwiring Your B&W's - worth it?
      by Karma
      HI All,
I'm just curious how many of us have biwired our systems. Those who have done so, what are your conclusions?

My system, with 805S's and HTM4S in the front are biwired. These are only the second set of speakers I have owned that permit biwiring. The first were Apogee Calipers...

Hello everyone - my first posting, and as is usual on forums I've seen elsewhere, I'm asking questions and trying to learn.

I am a two channel listener, who is asked to consider family needs and invest in HT for the first time. So, whilst I'm HiFi savvy, I need to "read into"...

      Bass Guitar Speaker for Subwoofer
      by Space
I’d like to ask for commentary about using bass guitar speakers as subwoofers. Consider for example the Eminence Definimax 4015LF instead of a Dayton RSS315HF. The Eminence has less x-max but similar peak displacement. Assume there will be active EQ to correct rolloff. I’d like to do a sealed...
