    Cirrus Logic CS 4397

Here's my quandary. My beloved Marantz SA8260 is dying. I don't know if it's the dreaded "disc error" or the laser is dying. I do know the sound quality whomps the bejesus out of my motherboard, which is one of the better audio PC pieces out there. I have been through several op amps (And thank you Jon, for the best one I found, the LM4562. Great op amp.)
Anywho, I'm looking at the Schiit DACs, but I love my Marantz. Does anyone have a DAC suggestion that sounds like my Marantz? Or am I sending my SACD player to Marantz and biting the financial bullet and continuing to buy CDs?

Cirrus Room Correction in the New C3, HDP70, HDR77 Controllers
    by Chris D
I think this is going to become an emphasis discussion topic in the future, so I'll start a dedicated thread to it.

As mentioned in the other thread with info on the new upcoming controllers, they will not have Audyssey MultiEQ processing that is somewhat prevalent in today's market....

    Marantz 8801 - setting expectations?
    by JonMarsh
When I got the email with Trond-Erik's new Pro-Pro, something about that rang a bell. The bell was related to an AV Forums post by a guy with high sensitivity speakers comparing the Benchmark AHB2 amplifier and the M22 and some other amplifiers. One of his bugaboos was output noise, and noise that could...

    Cirrus vs Crystal DSP Engines
    by Adz
The 1066 and 1068 use Crystal Semiconductor to handle the DSP processing, while the 1098 uses Cirrus Logic to decode the material. At first it just seemed obvious that the Cirrus Logic is a better chip since its the one used by Rotel in its reference player, but then I came across the fact that more...

Analog front end for ADC (Cirrus CS42528)
    by Amphiprion
    Hi guys,

I'm designing an analog front end for a Cirrus logic CODEC. It's a fairly simple SE to differential converter.

Attached is a screenshot from LTSpice of two schematics. The first is the recommended filter from their data sheet, the second is a fairly simple cross-coupled...
