That is neat though I'd be worried about overheated components. I also wonder what effect the resin would have on fields around the components.Danish -
It's a headphone chipamp so I doubt the heat would be enough to do much of anything. Don't think resin really has any magnetic properties either. It does look pretty cool though.Comment

I believe Dan's point is that the resin provides no protection at all against EMF & EMI.Comment

I remember reading somewhere that fiberglass resin was better than caulking because it does a good job seeping into the cracks. This stuff (fiberglass resin) is not very viscous at all.
