Is it 60Hz? Have you unplugged the power cable?

Also, your TV is probably not really off. Just in a sleep mode. I had to change the green mode on mine to really shut it down. The standard mode was a quick boot mode (standby). Now I have to wait a few seconds each time I turn it on.

I would suggest that too, some plasmas have pretty annoying fan noise when the volume is down/muted.

RSX-1067 buzzing with only speakers connected
              by Jay Sylvester
A few weeks back, I purchased a 1067 receiver from my local dealer. When I hooked it up, I heard a distinct buzzing sound coming from all the tweeters in my system. The buzz was volume dependent, but still quite audible at very low volumes. Since it was coming from all 7 speakers in my setup, it was...

              by bayou
I hear a buzzing sound on all the inputs from my Krell HTS. I bought this couple of months ago and hooked it up only now.

              Setup:
The ac outlets are all properly grounded.
Krell HTS is connected to a ac outlet with a 3 prong power cable.

As I left the theater I swore I'd NEVER buy this movie, I thought it was the worst sci-fi I'd seen all year...next to Battlefield Earth.
Yesterday I'm on my way home from work, realizing that I feel like watching some mindlessly sci-fi fun, in my mind I go through all my mindlessly fun titles...hummmm,...

              Hello all,

I just set up my new kit and I need a little help. I have an AVM-20 feeding two rb-991's and an rb-993. The 991's have three prong power cords while the 993 has a captive 2-prong cord. All are plugged into two panamax 5100 power conditioners. All other components are plugged...
