Does an amp like this bring back old memories for anyone else?

This is something new on PE's site- at least new to me.

    Nuera Integrated Tube Amplifier

For me, it's Dyna Stereo 70's and MkIV's. Wonder how these would work with a set of KT88's instead of the LE34?

The price is low enough to consider it on a lark for the bedroom speakers- though I'd probably add a mid crossover zobel to make the impedance flatter and lessen the interaction with the amplifier. I've seen similar amps with the KT88's, but then we're talking 3X the price.

    Cute. Retro. I like it.

Of course, the reality might not be as much fun as the concept and reminescing. That's life...

Yeah, old folks club here! Where is the chrome chassis? I still kick myself for getting rid of my MC30, consecutive serial # MC 60's, and an original Ampeg SVT..... boo hoo.

Ampeg SVT? THAT brings back memories! Me, I wish I still had my Hammond B3, my last Marshall 100, my Traynor amp (4 KT-88's), my Leslie tone cabinets, and my SG Les Paul (white wonder).

They offer a vintage series recreation of the SG, now, and some days I think getting one would be a hoot... aside from the cost, of course.

Did you have the Traynor where the amp was motorized and lifted up from the cabinet? And if you had the stuff, you must have a Fender Rhodes at some point! And yes, I have thought about picking up a reasonably priced Strat some day before I get old. If anything, it would make good wall art!

I thought this is what some amps are all about? The interaction with speakers, that is.
There are some things which are impossible to know, but it is impossible to know which things these are. :scratchhead:
