From what I've read in Audioholics and others, the whole wire breakin thing is a scam. This is not my opinion this is just what I've read. I happen to agree with them based on lack of science. For that reason Iv'e never used them and do not have first hand experience.

Doug (CAT & Quantum Cables) uses an Audiodharma (or something like that) cooker on the cables he sells.

I guess if the head CAT believes in cooking, then there is meaning to it. It's just hard to prove (or disprove) that it makes a difference.
