which is better for line level audio, RG6 quad or 22-4 sheilded with drain?

A friend of mine needs more power than his receiver provides, although he likes the prepro component. So he is proposing adding one of my spare power amps via a high level to line level converter. He's a car audio guy and says they do this all the time, and that a speaker level signal is just an amplified... -

I have just recently found out that you can create RCA Cables out of Cable Coax. I was wondering if it is a good idea to do this or not.
What companies make the best coax and rca connectors? The Best sheilding? What type of Coax? If RG6 Analog Video or Digital video Coax?
