    rack recommendation

I've finally purchased a receiver and have decided that it's probably safer to put it in a seperate rack than my tv stand. Which racks would you guys recommend and also where can they be purchased?

Hey, Cpaliu, my favorite mainstream racks are the Synergy series made by Salamander. I have two of their racks, and they are beautiful. Very high-end quality, construction, and features. Only downside is that you do pay a pretty $$ for it. You can buy them at many A/V stores, such as Magnolia hi-fi, or you can click on their "dealer locator" on their website. Incidentally, they also make my theater seats. www.mander.com.

There are other racks that I really like too, but most of them are even more $$$ and rare to find.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

          Dream rack

I'd love to put my gear on this rack ;x(

But I guess I had to settle for this to house my gear with my 4806 sitting on top.

Yeah, but you have to worry about your gear overheating with that rack!

Not to mention the quality of gear you need, and the maintenance on that rack would be way out of my budget.

No kidding... have you seen her "videos" of the gear she's used with that rack before?

Always seems to be the problem, not enough gear to fill a large rack. Lots of empty shelves..

That rack has a thin veneer with no real quality underneath.

Is this just Stereo, or full 5.1 surround?

Not bad, but that ‘Blonde’ finish veneer will usually require proportional amounts of sound deadening acoustical treatment
