I am lucky enough to have a hi rez player and a tube/ss cd player and I choose and listen to what sounds good at that particular time, depending upon my mood.
I don't mean to over-simplify things, but go listen and demo and decide for yourself what sounds better to you.Stan

The sound of my NatPs have been a bit thin, so I decided to take my tube headphone amp and use it as the pre to my Onkyo.
