Lend me your ear

Kind of off-topic but I thought I'd share this with you here given that you lot will understand my plight! I have an ear infection, my right ear is all blocked up and since Saturday, I can't hear a damn thing. My Doctor can't clean it out as it's infected, it's painful, I can't listen to music and I'm really, really pixxed off :M :M :M . In fact I don't even want to listen to music, and that shocks me....

The response from my wife and staff is, oh an ear infection, oh well poor you, pass the milk please. They just don't get it!

Anyhow, thanks for listening! We talk a lot about what we listen to and how, but when you can't......

Ear infections suck big time. Had one a few years ago so I know what you are saying. Hope it clears up soon.

Yeah, these things aren't any fun at all. I've had a couple of them get to the point that any loud noise - especially treble - is actually painful. Hope you get over it soon.

Worst pain I experienced in life was gall stones, lower back going out, and an ear ache. I get pissy when I just don't get to listen to music. It's what I do to relax (others watch TV, etc. to unwind from work). If I had and ear ache now, I'd have pain AND be unable to unwind.

Alloroc , you have my sincere empathy. I suffer from allergies and an almost constant sinus infection that continually clogs one ear. Usually leads to me asking someone "Is that speaker working?Is it as loud as the other one? Has anyone seen my medicine?" Best wishes for a speedy recovery. You deserve better than to have your own ear turn on you!

I know how you feel. I've had minor ear infections all my life.... fortunately no hearing loss but one many occasions, the loss of my balance. I don't know about the pain, but I can tell you I really hate having to live and crawl on the floor for a couple days because it is the least nauseating place to be.
