    What to put underneath ?

I have to move DAT recorder to new shelf which requires removing the round feet underneath the Unit---I need to put something very thin underneath to isolate it from vibrations etc...Anybody have any ideas for me???

VibraPods are my first choice, or small sorbothane-type rubber cushions like Big Feet. We had a thread going on VibraPods earlier - check it out.

I peeled the cover from a gelled wrist rest then cut it into 1" squares and now my DVD player floats like it is on air.

It is in the thread David pointed out. Could alway's do the simple store bought thing.

Have anyone replaced the original feet from Rotel components?
          by pbarata
I’ve recently replaced the RCD-1070 feet with Vibrapods isolators (http://www.vibrapod.com). Overall the sound opens out and gains focus, and gets less edgy. At least they work subjectively for me.

Have anyone else experimented similar solutions, like Navcom and Sorbothane pucks, with...

          Vibrapods Rule!
          by stantheman2
I've been toying with some means of vibration suppression under my Denon DVD-2200 for a while. Last week I broke down and popped for a set of Vibrapods - what was there to lose except a measly $24? I installed the 'pods four days ago and have been doing some critical listening (CDs exclusively) since....

Putting sub underneath floor of listening area
          by PSUfan
Hello all! We have recently made some changes to our upstairs living room. I have my dedicated HT room downstairs so this area is just really a place for my son to watch movies (3 years old) and us in addition to tv. We mounted the tv above the fireplace already and I purchased a small klipsch surround...

Important note on taking the feet off Zcustom units
          by Chris D
Important enough issue here to make a dedicated post. Like most any rack-able component, if you rackmount a Zcustom unit, you'll need to take the feet off the underside of the case. If you do take the feet off, do not put the feet screws back in the unit.

I just did this with a Zcd. ...
