    Eprom upgrade 1098 not by software

    Hi Folks,

    I was thinking off upgradin my 1098 with the latest firmware but i read that some peeps had trouble with the eprom upgrade so i called the distributor over here in the Netherlands and asked him about warranty when the shit hits the fan........

    Guess what....they gonna send me some kinda new eprom which i have the install in the 1098. This eprom has a larger memory according to the distributor.

    So no software eprom upgrade for me

    Some peeps getting the same answer from there distributors??

      Sounds like a good plan to me, I tried the EPROM update by softwear and it took out my digital card!!

          After reading your info I have to go back to my dealer. This because he told me last week that the distributor (the same as yours) told him that the eprom upgrade and so on wasn't available. Go figure.
