Thank you, Flamethrower1. I don’t have the Statement monitors, I built those for a friend, but had them for a week. To be honest, that’s more speaker than I need for surrounds, I’ll probably build one of the smaller Statement monitors on Curt Cs website eventually.

I am ordering a Finalist center any day now though. Stay tuned.

As for speed, I had a few evening/weekend opportunities to get work done and not veneering saved some time probably.

Slow Finalists Center and Anthologys Build
      by Mandroid
So, I decided to build a couple of Jim and Curt's more recent speakers. PE has had RS225's and RS28F's on sale recently, combined with a bit of shopping spree action allowed me to get most of the parts I needed for very reasonable cost. As the title says, the build is likely going to be slow. I would...

      Pipe Dreams
      by Mike B
This is a new project just underway. I am going to simplify my office system (now 6.1) to 2.1 (like I need a HT in my office) and remove lots of wires.

Tang Band 4" bamboo drivers in a 3 liter box tuned to 80 Hz, -3 dB point at 80 Hz, so should be perfect for a sub.

      Help choosing amplifier for Anthologys
      by Erick15
I'm currently building a set of anthology speakers and I am looking for advice as to what amplifier to get for them. These speakers will be used for both music and home theater, 50/50 split. It will begin as a 2.0 system however may be expanded eventually to 5.1. Inputs will be a smart TV with netflix,...

Do you still roundover with a grill?
      by oldloder
Some gift recipients have told me they want grills instead of the raw driver look. Would the grill frame negate the benefit of the roundover? In this particular case, the driver frame would reach the edge of the 3/4" roundover. Aesthetically, I think it would look strange to have both unless...

      PVC tubing for enclosures
      by kgveteran
To cut cost and look for a more interesting enclosure I priced some 8" PVC tubing (the thick green stuff ) for enclosure purposes.Has anyone used this material before ? My thoughts are to use the 8" stuff for the woofers (6.5" drivers),6" for the midrange(5"mid) and the 4"...
