Glad to hear things are working out better now- not too surprised that this made a difference. Those particularly Nichicon caps are supposed to be quite good for audio, and have low ESR, too. And heck, the'yre pretty! Sort of... :W

Does anyone know why Rotel has a two wire mains power connection and does not use a ground wire? It would seem to me that a grounded chasse would be better. I hook up my turntable to a provided ground connection but I am wondering how that works with only two wire mains. -
