Power supply boards work as they should. I may have to trim voltages a bit more but hey. Makes me feel a bit better about all the time tracing and re-tracing and tracing again making sure it was all as it should be. 
3886 board is good. So far, NO buzz or hum on the output, which is more than I can say for the boards I've purchased in the past. And no caps in the signal path to filter DC (there is some, not sure where it's from - next investigation is in that direction).
Nothing wrong (well, one board I failed to connect a resistor to V- but that's easy to work around for now) but definitely some things I will change!
If I go past this effort with these, that is. May never do anything else with it once my amps are built unless there is interest in kits. ~120W or ~220W balanced amps (into 4ohm), half those numbers for single ended (same basic amp board)... I'll probably build myself an amp for my HT, who knows.
