SSP-300 latest software issue

Hi all,

I have emailed Tom at Classe, who is helping me with another issue (Harmoney 880 remote barely works when installed new software), but was wondering if anyone else had this very small issue. In the Display brightness menu, mine are reversed - high is the lowest brightness while low is the highest. Is this a known, common issue or not? Combined with the odd remote issue (it is not from the Harmony because it was working perfectly before the 1.5.2 version and I have tried 2 remotes), should I consider sending this in for a diagnostic? Tom has been very helpful so far, but given the weekend, wanted to see if anyone here had heard of this.

FYI, I have tried to reinstall the 1.5.2 patch but that did not help.

I don't have the 880 so I can offer no comment there, but I do have version 1.5.2 installed and I don't and haven't had the display issue you speak of. Have you tried powering the unit completely down (unplug it too) and then power everything back on?

There is a bug in the new software that is temporarily corrected when this procedure is executed. It may clean up your anomaly too, but if it doesn't AND you had this problem before version 1.5.2 then it may be a wiring issue of some kind. Though I would be very surprised if that were the case.
