    Dayton III rebuild.

Hello to all. I have built the D-III's and if anyone is familar with the design i need to find an answer to this question.

The spacing of the drivers seem far apart to me and was wondering if i could move them closer together ? I know i should try and contact the designer (design on P.E's projects page) Wayne Jaeschke but the site that this design was on can't be found any longer? and i don't have an email address.

    Thank You.

I tried my link (MyFovorites), it didn't work before and now it does.
I think the website was down for a little while and now its back up.

I received an email from Wayne and he said sure. I would like to make it clear that i was only wanting to move the drivers closer together and not offsetting the tweeter thus keeping the straight vertical alignment. Awaiting his reply on if the crossover would need any tweaking?

                  by JamesH
I posted to the Parts Express board a while back trying to figure out what home theater design to try building. I have no experience with speaker designing. I've installed a few car audio systems and built Wayne's DIIIs. I'm fairly confident in my abilities to execute a design if I have a BOM and...

I'm brand spankin' new to DIY speakers and would like some input. I have been reading on several center channel speaker designs in this forum and before I consider building speakers from the ground up, I would like to try my hand at what I think is a simple project to improve my existing configuration....

                  Hi Guys,

I am in the process of building a home theater that will be about 24'x16'x8'8" or about 3300cuft. There will be an AT screen hiding the speakers and IB sub and the first row of seats will be about 12' from the screen. The front wall will have 2" of OC703 covering it....

I found this review on the canoe site and thought I'd paste it. I'm not surprised by any of the reviews on JPIII but I'll still see it anyway. I guess I'm a sucker for dino's

                  Hi everybody!

As many of you, the Matrix 801 were a dream from the very beginning, when falling into Hi-Fi clutches. Years have passed and finally I could bought a pair of 801 Series II second handed (white ones), while now I also got another pair of 801 (black ones), but in Series III....
