    Started remodel of HT today

I started painting my HT today...Its a nice shade of dark blue, similar to the color of Cisco's main logo. I will also be using dark Red accents to spruce things up. Pics coming soon!

LOL...no, not the Cisco kid. Cisco Systems Inc, the network equipment manufacturer, whos product run probably 87% of the Internet!

I used to be a Network Engineer, but have now moved on to Cellular technology, working for Verizon Wireless.

ps, i will get my pics up soon...waiting for the couch and maybe the curtains to make the transformation almost complete. It will be a few weeks before I get the projector :-)

Pics are in, most work is done...

I still need to do some wire-hiding, but the gist of it is apparent.

tgrossner. wow, nice job. It's very close to the color that I just painted mine. I'm also using red with it.

                          HEHE...el Cheapo

LOL its the El Cheapo from the local Big Box store...

It used to be a wall mount for a ~20" Television. People who pay hundreds of dollars for projector mounts are throwing their money away, imho.

                            Cisco Cable for RS232?
                            by phuz
I think I'm finally going to update my RSX-1056, and I'm wondering if a regular cisco cable that is used for switches and routers will work? My receiver didn't come with the RS232 cable.

                            Good day HT crew,

After living in an insufferably small home-theater/office for the last couple years it is time to remodel. Originally I had a large futon, a full desk, and 2 racks, plus the audio equipment leaving zero floor space... along with a wall of DVDs (that have made their...

This is another one of those gritty cop films where the line between good and evil becomes obscured as Kurt Russell and company go about their daily duties as LA Detectives.

DARK BLUE is set during the period leading up to the Rodney King race riots in Los Angeles. Russell is breaking...

So the story goes... I ended up going to the Pearl Jam concert with the guy who I bought the ticket from. His son couldn't make it, picked up the ticket on the way and offered him a ride. Interesting fellow, from Mexico, had only been here a couple years, little hard to understand, every likable fellow......

Yes, the Emperor has succeeded in turning me to the dark side. With nearly a week without HTGuide Forum, my feeble connection to the lighter side of the force has atrophied unto nothingness- now, I know nothing but the power of the dark side. Did I mention I signed up for the XP Windows Preview program,...
