I bought my carpet for my HT this morning. Medium-grey.With a thick undercarpet.

I was aiming for a black carpet, but it was too much for the WAF...

Actually, I don't like it either. I have 3" deep flocati rugs in my HT "area" for acoustic reasons as this is also where I do my 2ch/SACD listening.

But someone might like it.

I wouldn't use that for the whole floor but as an accent or perimeter ring it might be effective in the right room

As if they couldn't tell already from all the chairs in the room facing the big screen on the wall. :>) (If the chairs aren't arranged that way, then what you have is a "multipurpose room" and that kind of carpet would be even more out of place.)
