I recently heard that we may be introduced to the wonderful world of Magnetic R.A.M. in the not to distant future :P

This could be huge for PDA's, laptops, cell phones, MP3 players and... HTPC users! We'll finally be able to have PC's that are loaded and ready to go seconds after pressing the power button. Just like normal A/V gear! Not to mention the lower energy usage (more of a bennefit to portable devices, prolonging battery life).
