    Tower of Power circa 1993

Just ran across a buying guide from 1993 and it illustrates exactly how far computers have come.

Ex: A best buy is the Commodore Amiga.

25 MHz processor (5X's the processing power of the standard Amiga at the time).

    2 megabytes RAM

    100 MbHard Drive

    One 3.5" Floppy Drive

    One Free Expansion Slot

    Operating system: Amiga DOS 2.0

Retail Price = $4146 (Without Monitor Monitor=$700 (no size indicated).

      Hi all,

I was looking for a good speaker set for my TV setup ( I have a 2.1 setup Onkyo LS 3100 ATM).

First I was thinking about a bookshelf speaker like setup.

      Hi all,

I recently completed Paul Carmody's Amiga speaker with some help from my girlfriend, built as a wedding gift for some dear friends of ours. I was unable to document the build in photos, but I thought I'd share the final product (placement in photos is temporary).

      I...

s anyone here familiar with the Rotel RA-820A integrated, circa around 1986? It looks just like the more popular RA-840BX, except this has tone controls, and a switch to turn off the tone controls. I'm considering buying an as new condition specimen of this model for about $90US. I originally thought...

Hi everyone, I came across this board after a many hours of speaker building re-education.. I've been lurking for a while but now I'm working on my first serious home audio build (have built many basic builds and also complex car audio designs).
